Founded - 2010

Mission - The Castle Dance Project advocates for the inclusion of authentic-jazz dance and swing dance programs in K – 12 schools.

We aim to use our website -- -- to showcase the spread of Lindy Hop education, around the world. The site was launched in January of 2011, and is in an early stage of development.

In addition to maintaining this website, we produce university and high-school presentations, featuring music and dance performances, and panel discussions with jazz legends such as Norma Miller and Dawn Hampton.

We also are working to facilitate the collaborative creation of a set of national jazz-dance standards, along with a curriculum framework, which may adopted by anyone (free of cost).

Website -

We invite collaboration.
